High Intensity with Kayla
Created by world-famous fitness trainer and social media influencer Kayla Itsines, the High Intensity with Kayla (formerly known as BBG - Bikini Body Guide) is trending, and not for the first time either.
On her website, or her app, Sweat with Kayla, followers of this workout program will find three unique workout programs to follow:
The first of which is the original program, High Intensity with Kayla 1.0 which consists of 12 weeks of workouts lasting just 28 minutes. The next one is called High Intensity with Kayla 2.0, and builds on the foundation of the 1.0 program but adds in gym equipment to build strength. The final one is called BBG Beginner, focused on those who want to start exercising for the first time.

HIIT, otherwise known as High Intensity Interval Training, continues to be one of the most popular workout programs in the world.
HIIT has been trending in the world of health and fitness for close to a decade now, and when you understand what it’s all about and what it can do for you, it makes perfect sense.
HIIT requires participants to basically switch between slow and steady, low intensity exercise and fast-paced, high intensity exercise for a number of “rounds” or circuits. The idea is to alternate between the two so that you’re working at near 100% max effort, and around 20% when you rest and catch your breath.
A very simple example of HIIT would be to begin walking for 30 seconds before sprinting as fast as you can for 30 seconds, before slowing down and walking again and repeating the process over and over for the next 20-minutes or so.
